ACG brings fully integrated OSD manufacturing to Europe at Interpack 2026

Pharmaceutical manufacturing is becoming more demanding. Rising SKU variability, tighter timelines, and growing pressure to deliver more from every investment are pushing manufacturers to rethink their production strategies and to demand more from the partners they rely on.

At Interpack 2026, ACG, the world’s most integrated provider of solid dosage solutions, will demonstrate how integrated, intelligent systems can help manufacturers build better value into their oral solid dosage (OSD) operations, with solutions designed for flexibility, consistency, and long-term performance.

At the centre of ACG’s presence at Interpack will be the showcase of its fully integrated packaging line. Blister X is a high-performance blister packaging solution engineered for speed, precision, and seamless integration within the ACG OSD line. Alongside it, Karton X is an advanced cartoning solution designed to handle greater product complexity with efficiency and consistency.

Also on display will be ProTab 700, a high-speed tablet compression system built for consistent tablet quality and the flexibility to adapt as production needs evolve, shifting seamlessly from monolayer to bilayer applications.

Together, they embody ACG’s approach to OSD manufacturing: high-performing components designed to deliver greater value when they work as one integrated system.

Borja Guerra, Vice President, ACG Engineering, said:
“The biggest challenges in pharmaceutical manufacturing don’t come from individual machines, but from the gaps between them. Fragmented supplier relationships create integration challenges, misaligned accountability, and performance losses across the line.

ACG addresses this with OSD systems designed to operate as one connected unit across capsules, machinery, packaging materials, inspection, and track and trace. The result is a fully integrated system that improves line efficiency, reduces downtime, and lowers total cost of ownership.”

Jochen Scheil, Vice President, ACG Packaging Materials, said:
“At Interpack, we are demonstrating how packaging materials and machines, when designed to work together, can significantly improve line efficiency, consistency, and changeover performance -helping manufacturers manage complexity with greater reliability.”

ACG’s commitment to innovation is reflected in its Shirwal facility being named a Global Lighthouse by the World Economic Forum, marking its second Lighthouse recognition after Pithampur in 2023. ACG is the first pharmaceutical packaging company to achieve this distinction twice.

ACG will exhibit at Interpack 2026 from 7–13 May at Messe Düsseldorf, Hall 16, Stand D57.
