About the VeriShield® BA24
The VeriShield® BA24 is an intermediate bottle bottom code referencing system designed for pharmaceutical bottling lines using pre-printed 2D Data Matrix codes on bottle bottoms. The system decodes bottom reference codes and establishes a verified relationship with the serialised label applied to the bottle.
Built on a fully camera-based architecture, BA24 enables accurate bottle-level referencing to support downstream aggregation processes, ensuring reliable hierarchical relationships from bottle to higher packaging levels.
Applications
Bottom reference code decoding and verification for pharmaceutical PET bottles
| Features | Benefits | |
|---|---|---|
Enables referencing without additional printing or rework | Camera-based decoding of pre-printed bottle bottom 2D Data Matrix codes | |
360° bottle label inspection with integrated bottom code identification | Ensures correct association between the serialised label and the bottom reference code | |
Fully camera-based inspection architecture | Eliminates dependency on handheld scanners and reduces manual intervention | |
High-speed referencing capability of up to 200 bottles / minute | Increases throughput for high-volume pharmaceutical bottling |
