Following the success of its first-to-market Process Lab in India, ACG, a leading supplier of fully integrated manufacturing solutions to the global pharmaceutical and nutraceutical industry, is committing to launching a sister process lab in South-West Germany in 2023.

The site will be located at ACG’s XERTECS GmbH plant in Muellheim, close to Basel, with the first phase occupying 250 square metres. The company will work with universities and academia to recruit local talent for lab technicians, process engineers and pharmacists.

As an integrated solutions provider, ACG’s highly successful process labs enable customers to experience and test the product portfolio, process solutions and operational and maintenance training on premise, before fully committing.

Customers are able to test the limits of all aspects of solid dosage optimisation, and to co-create alongside ACG’s team of experts to find their process solutions. The extensive range of equipment covers areas including: feasibility, R&D and pilot scale studies Inhouse technical training Highly skilled team of 15+ Pharma professionals with individual specialisms and experience of handing over 3,500 formulations Separate gowning area and air balancing for preventing cross contamination between rooms
