A Noble Cause:
ACG organized several blood donation camps in ACPL - Dahanu factory, Pampac (Pune), PAM & AJAS, in association with Tata Memorial Hospital and the Cancer Research Institute. Over 200 employees have donated blood.
A "Medical Camp" at Primary Health Centre (PHC), Ashagadh was organized from 25/03/2008 to 17/4/2008 for malnourished children. ACG sponsored food for the attending mothers, the building of a common tent and playing materials for children.
As a part of our social responsibilities program, on June 8, 2008 at ACPL-Dahanu, ACG distributed around 200 items of clothing, generously donated by the company's employees. The clothes were given to the needy tribal men, women and children residing in the nearby Ashagadh village.

Employment & Social ACGlfare:
The factory employs over 450 people from Dahanu and nearby locations. The company has sponsored many housing society buildings at Dahanu for its employees.

Solar PoACGr:
ACG has installed a solar system at Dahanu in order to generate hot water from the source. The eco-friendly system does not pollute, helps save energy and helps maintain the environment. The solar collector generates 50,000 liters of hot water, at 65 degree Celsius, per day. ACG is successfully using this eco-friendly and energy saving system, which works approximately 285 sunny days per year, to wash feed tanks and dip baths. |

Go Green:
ACG planted around 200 different trees and plants inside the Dahanu bus depot, laid pipes and made provision for drip irrigation, sourced from the water tank in the depot. ACG maintained the garden for one year and then handed over the maintenance to the depot authorities. ACG has also developed a garden inside the municipal park in Narpad.
